I am pleased to advise that bookings are now being taken for ICC UK's Annual Arbitration Conference, Enforcement: Making the Award Worth the Paper it’s Written On, to be held on Wednesday 25 November, at Clifford Chance LLP, 10 Upper Bank Street, London E14 5JJ.
 
This year's conference will offer contrasting views on key issues and developments in international commercial arbitration and the enforcement of arbitral awards. The event will be chaired by Lord Bingham of Cornhill and Audley Sheppard of Clifford Chance.
 
The conference will feature a speech from John Beechey, Chairman of the ICC International Court of Arbitration on the Role of Institutions in Facilitating and Achieving Enforcement and Renaud Sorieul of UNICITRAL on promoting enforcement. This year's event will examine topics such as the future of enforcement and reform of the New York Convention, how to make an award enforceable from the arbitrator’s perspective and practitioners perspectives on judicial support in Russia and Switzerland.
